prepare project files by selecting for which target language

Hi,

I would like to be able to prepare files for translation in Trados on projects that have more than one target language by selecting for which target language the files should be prepared.

Example:

Project has target DE-DE, DE-AT, DE-CH but this time the customer only wants some files translated into DE-DE, so it would be nice if we could select the target languages to be prepared. Another option would be that all are selected by default and you deselect those you don't need.

  • There is already such idea, just named somehow differently. It's maybe API-related, but the point is the same - to have a way to fine-tune which files should go to which target language.

    (I think it was mentioned in relation to having a way to delete files from project via API)
