Sometimes while doing the spell-check, spellchecker gives an spell error when checking some terms that should remain in English, ie: LAN, YMCA, Domain Name System, and so on.
Many times, translators write those words by hand, introducing errors.
I found a useful feature on SnellSpell, another QA tool: a flag that says "Skip word if found in source and word >= [%d] letters", where %d is a number selected by the user.
PSEUDO-CODE:
if spellcheck error
if reported word is equal to a word in the source string
don't report checkspell error
else
report checkspell error
EXAMPLE:
SOURCE: The Local Area Network card... TARGET: La scheda Local Area Network... ---> Does not give an error
SOURCE: SMTP protocol is very useful TARGET: Il protocollo STMP è molto utile ---> Report STMP as a mispelled word
