I believe it would make sense to have an option to quickly display the fragment of the source document, but without any file settings applied - just the raw fragment of the source file around the current segment. Sometimes it brings additional information on why the current segments looks the way it does. Could be similar to preview window, but only text based - no formatting, more like opening the document in Notepad++ or so. This would mostly make sense for xml, yml, json, and other text formats. Obviously this wouldn't work for binary formats.
