This idea is directed to the developers of Trados software, who are probably not translators themselves.

Make the option to choose the correct type of quotation marks (English, French, Dutch, German etc) available for all file types, without excluding file types such as XML and HTML as is currently the case (according to an email I received from a Trados support worker recently). There is no reason to exclude certain file types, because all file types contain texts to be translated and all texts may include the use of quotation marks.
