Idea Delivered Partially

Some apps are available for this use case - such as SDLXLIFF toolkit. Setting to "Idea delivered partially" therefore.

search - replace all text

Problem: when you want to replace a certain word in all target segments. CTRL + F, enter word to replace, click on "replace", enter new word, click on "replace all" à and nothing happens. To use the function “replace all”, you have first to replace one word with “replace” and only after that, you can click on "replace all" with success.

  • I have noticed this, too.

    While it is easily solved following the steps you outlined, it is annoying.

    It is also nice that there is an app that helps, but technically this is a bug since the button doesn't function upon the first press.

    I agree with you and think Development should treat and address this as a bug.
