Yes, we can always attach a sdlppx file to an e-mail. Yes, we can use GroupShare to give access to an online project. But the majority of situations I see in small and medium size agencies is simply either sending and sdlxliff file or a package directly to freelancers (a translation or a reviewer) in an e-mail. Basically the same way it was done 20 years ago. I think it's high time to change this step and allow sending packages directly from Studio. This could either be done by configuring the SMTP account in Studio for sending e-mails and including a simple mail function for sending packages in Studio or by using some external solution (OneDrive, Dropbox, SFTP?).
The sci-fi scenario also includes receiving the packages automatically. If Studio is open it would detect that the new package is available and ask the user if he wants to import it. Same goes for receiving the return packages.
