Set different QA settings for each language in a project

Hello there!

We have multilingual projects with many different languages that require different QA settings.

Right now it's a bit of a nuissance to configure the settings for each different language.

I know we have the option to create a separate verification settings file for each language that we can import when we have to do the QA, but it would be great to just be able to set all the different QA settings in a project template saved inside each language combination or something like that.

That way we could just use our template during the project creation and forget about importing the settings everytime we want to run the QA for a different language.

I hope you think this idea is worth it :).

Thanks for reading!

  • Hello, reopening this conversation I'd like to share from what I've seen of the new feature involving the Language Pairs section of Project Settings in Trados Studio 2019, I don't believe it allows for an actual exportable multilingual project template. The options in the Verification section of the Language Pairs are also limited in comparison with the standard list available for the QA Checker 3.0. Does anyone know if it is possible to export a multilingual project template, and if not, if this is a feature that could be considered for a future release?
