Source comments in target file

Hello,

It would be nice to have a way to retain comments from the source file to the target file without the need to manually recreate the comments in the translation.

In this case what I am looking for is a way to deal with source files that have comments in them that don't need to be translated but need to appear in the translated file in the same position.

  • The problem here is probably what you would consider "the same position". 

    If a comment is for a whole paragraph or sentence (ie. segment) then I can this should be possible. Conversely if the comment markers should only surround a phrase within a segment I cannot see an easy solution.
