Stop switching to native file after running "Generate Target Translations"

I asked a question about this:

https://community.sdl.com/solutions/language/translationproductivity/f/90/t/10598

Also, when you run "Generate Target Translations", at the end the following message appears:

"Would you like to open the folder containing your exported documents?"

I don't think anyone actually opens native files in the files view.

Note that this would completely eliminate the need for "Revert to SDLXIFF" feature also.

  • I agree on the weirdness of the "revert thing", but knowing you finalized a file in some complex projects is helpful. So I agree on this Idea but I'd add a mark (and a column) on the files view to let me know I already generated the target file for a specific SDLXLIFF (and maybe the date/time and user who generated the target file).

  • I voted for this, but what I'd really like to see is just the removal of "Revert to SDLXLIFF".  I think it's a pointless task closing down a project like this and it just adds unnecessary complexity..
