Studio - Add Uninstall command to the Plug-ins dialog

I wanted to uninstall an add-in and intuitively clicked on the Add-ins icon in Studio. However, there is no option to remove an add-in. Then I searched the hard disk for the presumed name of the add-in or for a subdirectory for add-ins. In vain.

Support was able to help me: you have to click on the RWS AppStore symbol! I would never have thought of that, I thought it was only for searching and installing apps that were not yet installed. The help also lacks any reference to uninstalling.

And here's the suggestion: add a function for uninstalling installed add-ins to the Add-ins dialogue box.

  • Good morning,

I know but the option is in the RWS AppStore dialog, not in the Add-ins dialog. And this is not intuitive at all since the user (I) usually thinks that  RWS AppStore is for searching for new apps. My suggestion was: include the Uninstall option in the Add-ins dialog. Or maybe have just one menu for both? I don't see why there should be two menus.
