When translating resource files like ResX or various other formats, there is usually a way for developers to add comments to give context to the translators. For example, what does a placeholder stand for, especially if there are more than one and understanding the final output is not obvious.
However, since comments shouldn't be translated, parsing rules will typically mark these tags as not translatable and they won't show up in Studio.
Should we think about a way to declare a node as comment, and ask Trados to apply it to the Translation Unit directly before or after that node (configurable). In other words, could comment be added to the source text in the XLIFF?
