Surfacing the Word Count of Files with Japanese/Chinese Source Language in the Analyze Files Tab

It would be great if it was possible to surface Japanese/Chinese source word counts in the "Analyze Files" tab. Trados Studio 2017 is able to count Japanese/Chinese words, but currently, the report in the "Analyze Files" tab only shows the pure character count. The word count is only visible in the "Analysis Statistics" section and in the Editor. We would like to be able to export the word count for Japanese/Chinese as a scoping report from the "Analyze Files" tab.

Hi all,

I'm Louis from Taipei PMO.

First, thanks Thomas for raising this concern.

We have some SMB clients and they do have the needs to translate Traditional Chinese to English, and Helix will have to handle the correct xml report to count the word numbers in "word" basis, not only characters.

Could you provide any workaround or we have to always handle this kind of job outside of Helix?
