While Trados Live may prove to be a great app for both translation productivity and management, up to now a number of devices are prevented from using it – namely Huawei's most recent ones, due to the Google Mobile Service (GMS) ban which forced the Chinese company to develop its own OS (HarmonyOS, to be released in June this year) and AppGallery. For your information, Huawei's global reach consists of 700 million smartphone users as of 31st March, 2021.

For this reason, I would like to submit the following idea to your attention: bringing the Trados Live mobile app to Huawei AppGallery as well. This way, all translators and Project Managers – especially those based in mainland China – will be able to get all the benefits of using your mobile app without being compelled to buy a new device.
