More and more translation requests are handed in by email, chat, orally... and concern small bits of text like sentences, social media posts, corrections of existing sentences, email content, etc. I would like to be able to translate these using my TMs, MT and termbases without having to copy the text to a Word document and create a formal translation project in Studio. The two existing options to do this are not sufficient to fulfill my needs: T-Window for Clipboard is somewhat awkward to handle and the Online Editor needs to be licensed separately. In my opinion, this functionality should be part of the core functionality of SDL Trados Studio since there is a growing need for small translations to be handled in a quick, lightweight way.
