It would be nice to have a new business rule that would give you the option to automatically retry the failed step if a task is submitted to auto error.
There are occasions when simply completing an auto error will resolve the issue, but having SDL WorldServer do this automatically as part of a business rule should reduce the overheads for system administrators when dealing with auto errors.
If the auto error fails to complete after one/two retries the error should be logged in the task history and the task should remain in auto error.
