It is possible to use transitions to route a task back to a prior step but the Workflow engine logic does not allow for at-will repositioning of a task to a different step unfortunately.

Go back to the previous step of a workflow

At the moment, it's impossible to go back to the previous step in a workflow.

  • Thank you Eric. We will try to add that transition in our workflow but the idea behind this is to make WS more user-friendly and intuitive. Many competitors in the market already offer that basic functionality. It's really basic to me (and to many other companies already using WS). It would save a lot of time to simply click on a button (instead of configuring every workflow separately).
