Not Considering

This seems like a reasonable idea but in practice would not really solve any problems, but create more work keeping the holiday schedules up-to-date for ALL users when in fact the impact of 1 user not being available should be managed as an exception.

Notify WS users of holidays occurring between today and the entered project due date, for all languages selected

Store and support holidays in WS - notify when scheduling/submitting projects

Issue: Someone submits project in WS, doesn't know about upcoming holidays. It is a manual process for these users to know about holidays; which they may not know about or remember.

Suggestion: Load SDL holidays yearly in WS, for jobs that are being sent to SDL. Allow WS to notify project requester that between today, when the project is created and the requested due date, there are holidays for any of the languages selected (list languages and dates). We'd want this same information in the pop up for scheduling when the PJM is entering the schedule. This would be super helpful.
