We need the ability to add empty alt tag for inline images (without <figure>). Using an empty/null alt tag for some contexts (decorative images, images with similar adjacent text, etc.) is needed to meet the accessibility rules outlined in W3C’s WCAG. This is relevant to all customers that need to correctly comply with WCAG (whether for regulatory requirements or otherwise).
