Add the functionality to copy a GUID from the Error list in Publication Manager 15, just as you can copy a GUID from the Publish report

We found an instance in which the Publish report did not show an error but the Error list did. It would have been helpful to be able to copy the GUID (Ctrl + c) from the Error list in Publication Manager, just as you can copy a GUID from the Publish report. When the writer used the locate in publication feature in the Error list, the writer was taken to the bookmap. If the writer could copy the GUID, it would have been easier for them with using the Find feature to locate the GUID quickly in the bookmap.

  • We spoke about this in the March 24 Docs User Group session, and we generally would like error messages to have basic copy/paste from places where the troubleshooting takes place. It would also be nice to download the report to log with support tickets, email to other team members, copy/search for specific information. There are a variety of troubleshooting processes in place--some authoring teams can troubleshoot in flight during publishing/release processes while others need to be able to call in outside/admin/power user assistance.
