We noticed for some of our more complex taxonomies (connected via a metadata binder) where some of the values contained commas, these were not processed correctly during publishing. The publishing/plugins framework interpreted commas as delimiters, resulting in multiple incorrect values being published for various metadata fields. The logic for this is apparently deep within the publishing framework and not easily modified.
