Drag and drop objects from "Browse repository" to "Publication Manager"

I would really like to be able to drag and drop objects from "Browse repository" to "Publication Manager". This would be really useful, especially for the resources I always need to add.

  • Hey Ragnar, I'm not sure I understand your request as drag and drop from the Browse Repository has been available for a long time. In fact, many customers leave the Browse Repository dialog open so they can drag & drop multiple resources into an open publication. Or topics from a folder. Or objects from the search results dialog. If the map is not checked out (assuming not released) it will be checked out automatically. You could even do a Ctrl+C from the repository and Ctrl+V in the publication in Publication Manager, but drag & drop is more intuitive.

    So unless there is a restriction in your environment, you should be able to accomplish the "drag & drop" functionality.
