Feature for enabling bulk duplication of publications in Tridion Docs.

The reason for this request is that one of our writing teams manages a large number of publications that need to be duplicated for each release cycle. This duplication is necessary because writers are still actively working in publications from the previous release while preparing content for the next one. Bulk duplication would significantly reduce manual effort, improve efficiency, and help maintain consistency across releases.

  • Hi Christina - I think there are much better ways to manage working on simultaneous releases of the same pub. Duplicating the objects de-couples the objects (they will have different GUIDs) and you won't be able to control versioning as easily in the future. You can use branches, versions, or baselines much more effectively to handle this problem. If you aren't a member of the Tridion Docs user group, I suggest you join and get some input from other companies who have tackled this.
