Feature Request: Add Font Size Adjustment Option in Publication Manager for Accessibility

We’d like to propose a feature enhancement for Publication Manager:
An option for users to increase font size within the interface to support accessibility and improve usability.

Business Need:
Some users—including those with visual impairments or those working on high-resolution monitors—find the default font size challenging to read. Currently, there is no built-in way to adjust font size, which can lead to eye strain, reduced productivity, and a less inclusive user experience.

Proposed Enhancement:
Introduce a user preference or toggle that allows font size customization within Publication Manager. This could be implemented as:

  • A simple font size selector (e.g., small, medium, large)
  • A zoom or scale setting for the UI
  • Integration with system/browser accessibility settings

ROI & Impact:

  • Improved accessibility for all users, aligning with inclusive design principles and accessibility standards.
  • Increased productivity by reducing visual fatigue and making content easier to navigate.
  • Reduced support overhead from users reporting readability issues or seeking workarounds.
  • Enhanced user satisfaction and adoption, especially among teams with diverse accessibility needs.

This feature would be a meaningful step toward making Publication Manager more user-friendly and inclusive for all contributors.

Thank you for considering this request!

  • We would also like to see this feature. A number of our writers used the feature in Tridion 14 that let them adjust the font size. Now, in Tridion 15, that feature is gone. The recommended alternative, changing the font size in Windows, results in too large fonts in many applications, especially on monitors with high DPI.
