I would like to display date/time of items based on user's time zone in Tridion Docs.

it would be nice to display the date/time(also timestamp format) of items based on the user's time zone.

  • Our CCMS (and most of the team) is based in Europe but I am in North America. I'm afraid that the European date format DDMMYY will never work in my brain, which expects MMDDYY. Docs 15.1 seems to know that my default language is en-us; and also has working language defined for publications; could it use those settings or my Windows settings to display date/time stamps in my preferred format? The selection below spans three days, but in my brain, it's three MONTHS.

Screenshot of Tridion Docs 'Publications' page showing a list of user guides with columns for Title, Version, Working Language, Working Resolution, and Date Modified. Dates are displayed in DDMMYYYY format.

  • or at least the timestamp should indicate which timezone is being displayed!
(in all the places where timestamps appear)

(never mind consistent display format of timestamps across the environment)
