Streamlining Content Publishing with Conditional Settings Saved in the Output Type

It would be incredibly beneficial for our users if Tridion Docs could set conditions within the output type.

Currently, users need to change the conditions each time they generate a different output type. With this feature, you would only need to set the conditions once in the output type, streamlining the process.

This enhancement would be especially helpful for our writers, who need to publish a publication to multiple formats, such as WebHelp, PDF, and HTML.

  • Thank you for this idea... could whoever is interested in this idea share a couple of examples of what kind of content you are driving with conditions on the output level. So what type of content needs to be 'unique' for an output and not for the complete version of the publication?
