Limit number of Embedded Fields and Component Link fields

Ability to have a maximum of Component Links allowed in a field.  Also, the ability to limit the number of Embedded Fields in a Multi-Value Embedded field Component.

Example:

We have a QuickLinks Navigation that allows a maximum of 6 items (Component Links).  More than this, the design breaks.  We would like to allow the user to enter up to 6 items in the list.

Next, we sometimes use a multi-value Embedded Schema field for the same purpose, and would like to limit the amount of embedded field groups, for the same reason as above.
