How about having a Search/Filter box in the Publication Panel?
This Idea can address the below problems with publication panel in GUI:
1. If a user has a large number of publications in CMS, it's pretty hard to find the right publication by scrolling down in the publication panel. We typically use "ctrl+f" to search in the browser.
2. It is never easy to see the related publications together filtering out others. For example, I just want to see 300 XYZ Content, 500 XYZ Master, 700 XYZ WEB (FR) and 750 XYZ WEB (FR-CA) publications to work on the publications.
With this Search Box,
1. User can search for a particular publication.
2. When the user starts typing in the box, the publications get filtered out (hides) on every keystroke leaving only publications visible whose Title has the string typed in the box. So this groups the related publications.
For example, if a user types something like "XYZ" in the search box, the publication panel only shows the publications like 300 XYZ Content, 500 XYZ Master, 700 XYZ WEB (FR) and 750 XYZ WEB (FR-CA) .
3. If the Blueprint is organized by number (ie. 030 Country or 050 Website), user can simply type 030 and see all the country Content Publications or 050 and see the Website Publications.
