Valid request, I have promoted this idea to Under community review so others can vote for this as well. 

Feature will be reviewed for the new User Interface development in a future release. 

Sites9.1 - Republish/Redo multiple from publishing queue

There was an extension available in the versions prior to Sites 9.1 to republish directly from the publishing queue.

Sites 9.1 has the option called as 'Redo' which is good as we do not need any extension, but it doesn't work if you select multiple pages/items from the publishing queue which was possible in the extension.

Unfortunately, the extension doesn't work as is in 9.1 version and it needs to be deployed using the addon service but needs some additional changes aligned with 9.1 version.

Is this solved by someone? Can we add it as a feature inside the product itself?

Much frustrating to see things which were possible in old version are not possible (or complicated?) in the new version...

    Yes, it was a customization available in the SDL Tridion app store https://appstore.sdl.com/web-content-management/app/publish-from-publishing-queue-extension/632/ which was just to unzip, copy and paste into CM server and add a virtual directory in CM IIS under SDL Web -> Editor pointing to the customization folder. Which was like 1 time job of 5 minutes.

    Now it is not possible to apply this straight forward extension 8.x way in the version 9.1 and if we have to implement this then we need to customize the extension?

    So strange that when it was decided to include such a popular extension in the product itself, a simple use case was not considered..

    Just hope that SDL includes this as a hotfix in near future, because it is possible to select multiple items and right click. You also see the Redo option but in disabled mode, should be fairly easy to enable it. The fix is going to be a great help to many customers, else it's going to be more & more frustrating.

    Good if someone can share the steps on how to use this old extension in Sites 9.1 way using add on service.

    I believe the old way to install GUI extensions is still supported, though perhaps deprecated in Sites 9.1. But maybe someone could confirm or you could see if that extension still works. Otherwise, consider following up on Tridion Stack Exchange.
