We’re looking at deploying the assembly not only in the GAC but also at a location that is more familiar for developers.

Supply the Tridion.TranslationManager.V2.dll file to developers easily

I had to go searching for this DLL:

  • Its not in [TRIDION_HOME]/bin.
  • Its not in [TRIDION_HOME]/bin/client/TranslationManager.

Apparently it has to copied out of the GAC directly (C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\assembly\GAC_MSIL\Tridion.TranslationManager.V2\v4.0_8.5.0.146__ddfc895746e5ee6b).

At the very least the CHM file should indicate this!
