We would like to know how many customers would like to have support for Oracle FAN

Support for FAN Configuration for Oracle database

Fast Application Notification (FAN) is a high availability and load balancing notification mechanism that Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and GoldenGate use to notify applications about cluster configuration and service-level information, including status changes such as UP or DOWN events for database services, nodes, etc.

FAN is a required component for interrupting the application to failover during planned maintenance.

Tridion Sites 9.6 is going out in November. It is too late to include Oracle FAN support there.

Let's see if we will have enough interest from other customers to have this feature

Now that FAN is not supported for Tridion 9.5, request RWS to implement this in the next product release (9.6?)
