Language Weaver - Retiring legacy URLs on February 23rd 2023

Hi everyone,

We would like to inform you that on February 23rd 2023 we plan to disable the support for our legacy URLs sdl.comsdlbeglobal.com and us-translate.sdl.com. This change is part of our brand transformation to Language Weaver and unifies access to our platform.

To prepare for this change and avoid service disruption please take the necessary action as soon as possible before the deadline. This communication provides all the information you need to plan for the upcoming change and includes instructions for both Web UI users and API integrations. We would like to assure you that during the transition period we will continue to support all our domains.

Web Portal Users:

If you are accessing our portal through the legacy URLs https://translate.sdlbeglobal.com or https://translate.sdl.com, please use and bookmark the re-branded URL: https://portal.languageweaver.com.

If you are accessing our portal through https://us-translate.sdl.com please use and bookmark the re-branded URL: https://us.portal.languageweaver.com

API Integrations:

For integrations using our REST API, please review your code and replace the base URLs https://translate-api.sdlbeglobal.com or https://translate-api.sdl.com, with https://api.languageweaver.com

If your integration is using the base URL https://us-translate-api.sdl.com, please update it to https://us.api.languageweaver.com

All our endpoints, methods and headers remain the same and no other change should be necessary. Make sure to check out our updated API documentation which now includes cURL code snippets for all API endpoints to help you easily test new API functionalities and visualize the server responses.

How to get support:

For any questions you might have about the changes announced here, please reach out to our technical support team by raising a ticket at https://gateway.sdl.com.
