Context
Since the upgrade to SDL ETSÂ 7.3.4 the Test LDAP Configuration is failing to bind the user if using Only this LDAP bind user can do a search option, despite SDL ETS being able to use these credentials to return Login Groups and users are able to authenticate into the system.
It is working correctly in SDL ETS 7.3.3:
Not working in SDL ETS 7.3.4 and 7.3.5 (unless the Bind User Password is re-entered)
Root Cause
The problem has been raised to development under CRQ-9675
Resolution
Although Test LDAP Configuration is failing to bind the user once it has been saved, it will be working once the password is re-entered into Bind User Password field.
