Hi all,
SDL ETS 8.4.0 is now generally available.
It is a major update release which introduces the new On-premise Neural Trainer with the ability to train Adaptable Language Pairs.
- The new Adaptable Language Pairs and the on-premise training capability included in SDL ETS Trainer enable organizations to adapt Neural Machine Translation on their own, without the need to share their data.
- Customers can train their model on premises (or in their private cloud), at their own pace, while keeping their data secured at all times.
- Customers can train and re-train their models to adjust them continuously, as their data and usage grow.
Benefits of the On-Premise NMT Trainer include:
- Data Privacy. Privacy is always guaranteed: data remains on-premise and does not need to leave the secure enterprise perimeter.
- Improved accuracy. By leveraging existing bilingual parallel data, the baseline generic language pairs can be trained to translate the enterprise content with an improved accuracy.
- Continuous Adaptation. Models can be trained as needed, according to the data growth. Models constantly improve as they get trained with new data, without the need to contact SDL.
- Deployment Flexibility. Adapted language pairs can be deployed on-premise in ETS, but can also be safely deployed to BeGlobal.
The online documentation has been updated.
Thanks!
