There are some changes that will require a new license:
• Hardware (MAC address) or Virtual machine (VM_UUID) is changed
• Major and Minor version of ETS is changed
• Language Pairs are changed or upgraded to newer versions
• Number of Processing unit (v8.1+) is changed
If there is a need to install on a different server (for recovery or change of hardware) then a new license is required.
Where there is a requirement to have a failover replicated environment, additional licenses can be purchase for this purpose.
