- Single Sign-On (SSO) with SAML support: users can now log in transparently to Edge using their existing Identity Provider credentials. If they are already authenticated, they access the Edge UI with just one click. If they are not authenticated yet, they are routed to their Identity Provider login page and after a successful authentication, transparently re-directed to the Edge UI. This has been tested with ADFS, MS Azure AD and SDL ID.
- Language Pair Chaining: It is possible to create new language pair combinations in Edge, by chaining 2 existing language pairs. LP chains can be managed manually or automatically. This feature provides access to virtually any to any language pair combination.
- Interactive Translation Editor: Edge can be integrated with GroupShare to allow non-professional translators users to edit Machine translated segments from Edge and store their changes in a Translation Memory for later re-use. By integrating Edge and GroupShare, not only we provide some nice interactive edition capabilities to end-users but we also provide a system that can immediately apply the recorded changes in future translations. Combined with Adaptable Language Pairs which can be trained with the TM content on a regular basis, we provide all the elements to achieve continuous Adaptation.
