I'm happy to announce that MT Edge 8.5.2 has been released and is now available from our download servers.

This version is a patch release that contains the following fixes and improvements:

• Redesigned Translate UI with a clean and easy to use interface
  • Add UI direction-toggle to easily switch the source and target languages
  • Align target language selection with the target language text box
  • Add more visible "Clear text" option to clear the source text box
  • Move Dictionary selection under Settings
  • Add UI option to highlight target segments in the Translate page

  • Ability to override resource requests/limits for each individual Translation Engine.
  • Ability to use non-default, authenticated Docker registries, for example the one provided by RWS.
• Fix pagination of large number of entries in the Dictionaries page
• Fix poor translation of PDF→Text files for Arabic source

If you are already using MT Edge 8.5, you can safely upgrade to 8.5.2 and no new license is needed.

Direct upgrade from other 8.X previous releases is supported, but a MT Edge 8.5 license will be required. The new license can be requested through your gateway account, and it can be generated based on your current myhosts.json file (there is no need to wait for the upgrade to be done to get the license generated - we can generate the license in advance so it can be available when the upgrade is performed).
