The latest version of the Language Weaver for Salesforce LiveAgent chat is available in the Salesforce AppExchange.

The Language Weaver for Salesforce LiveAgent Chat app allows customer Salesforce agents to communicate smoothly with a multilingual user base without any need to highlight the role of machine translation in their interaction. 

Features:

  • Instantly translates LiveAgent chat messages from the user to the Agent, showing the communication only in their preferred language
  • Instantly translates LiveAgent chat messages from the Agent to the user, showing the communication only in their default language (configurable in the Salesforce user profile)
  • Provides metadata to the Agent about the original language of the user in the context of each message
  • Maintains an intact transcript of the communication between the Agent(s) and the user, including the original and machine translated messages
  • Enables Agents to hand off communication to other Agents while maintaining the complete transcript.
  • Includes metadata about the agent, the user and their preferred languages in the transcript of the chat.
