We're excited to announce that we have just released the version 1.0 of the Zendesk Language Weaver connector. You can find the connector in theZendesk marketplace.
This first version supports MT for Zendesk's Support Ticket feature, allowing our customers' Zendesk agents to seamlessly support their users across languages. There are two primary features:
Enable agents to use Language Weaver to machine translate support ticket content into the agent's preferred language
Enable agents to use Language Weaver to machine translate their response into the user's preferred language
In an effort to make the user experience as efficient as possible, we have built in some intelligence to select the agent's language based on their system preferences and we've used Language Weaver's language identification features to detect the end user's preferred language.
This is just the first version, and we have a lot more planned for Zendesk, including adding features to support chat and Knowledge Base, and making UX improvements to integrate more deeply into Zendesk's UI. Please feel free to share feedback; we're always looking to improve.
