To help with an issue, need a bit more context.

Do you see anything in the Projects table? If there is some data, does it has any volumes and amounts?

The Charts windows is completely empty? It has some tabs, all of them are empty?

So, any additional info or screenshots will help to check it.

1. Is it possible to change the currency of the the project elements (from US into Euro)?

2. Will the charts be also shown for projects independently from synchronised  SDL Trados Studio-Projects?

Absolutely! First of all, set your main currency in main plugin settings. Then you can go to the Customers, open your customer, and set default currency for that customer. Additionally, you can double click on a project and change currency there. Of course, after changing a currency you have to check prices.

Sure. Here I manually added new project:

I selected Medical specialization, so this project is the only project with this specialization in my database.
