Great points! For exceptions, I absolutely agree that we need a possibility to enter periods.

As for linking scheduler and planner.. Yes, these things are separate now. Definitely we can do something to establish better linkage and make workload planner be dependent on scheduler. 

Interesting, how you set days as "busy" in the scheduler? Create some event which occupies work time? And what's your opinion, what app behavior should be? Should it be warning or silent "skipping" of busy hours? Say, you create a job and save it > the app tries to allocate it to free time slots, starting from date of job until deadline. Should it load all busy slots from workload planner and from scheduler, and then allocate to remaining free slots? If it's not enough, then rest is distributed evenly. Do I see it correctly?

Yes, I do create an event to "book" the time needed. So this means that today, I need to do this twice (in the scheduler and in the WP).

This is a tricky question. I would tend to say "warning" to let the user decide what to do but I'm afraid this might end up with too many warnings. Could this be options in the settings so each user can decide to opt for either a "warn in" or "silent "skipping" of busy hours? Or is this too complex to create?

The problem is that I really don't want' to add a new setting for any new small thing in the software. Otherwise it could take whole day to just only read names of parameters, not saying about understanding them all So, we always look how to do something without new settings and avoid adding excessive complexity. Will try to find easy way and do something on this matter!

I understand and you are right: customizing the settings to my use and wishes and starting to work with the software was "a piece of cake". You did a really great job at creating a software that is easy to familiarize with.

And the other way around too: if I have a outside meeting added from 10 to 12am in the scheduler, can this be "sent" to the workload planner to adjust the available time?
