Trados Business Manager – End of Life Announcement

Trados Business Manager (TBM) has reached end of life. Following the discontinuation of TBM sales on 31 October 2023, all maintenance and support services will conclude on 31 October 2024.
What Does This Mean for TBM Users?

  • End of Services: RWS will no longer provide any services related to the installation or updating of TBM.
  • Existing Installations: TBM will remain functional where already installed, but the RWS support team will not offer assistance in troubleshooting issues, addressing reported problems, or providing further development for TBM.
  • Documentation: The TBM documentation has been removed from docs.rws.com.
  • Community Support: The community forum for TBM will remain accessible in a read-only format for users to reference if needed.

How to: Install and License BaccS Lite

Description-

The BaccS Lite version (a mini TMS right inside Studio) allows you to create up to 15 invoices using predefined Invoices and also enables you to send quotes using a predefined Quote template.

Install-

Once you have downloaded the plugin, simply double click to start the BaccS Installation Wizard

You will see at this stage which version you are installing (BaccS Lite)

Please read the License Agreement before agreeing with the terms and conditions and then clicking Next>

Now select SDL Studio 2019 and in Locations- All your domain machines

Please note: this application does not support Studio 2017 or earlier versions.

If you already have Studio running, you will be prompted to close the application before continuing.

Once you restart Studio- you will see the BaacS Application

To activate your BaccS lite - Click Activation - Paste your activation code and Click Activate
