Trados 25.11.1 Release

Trados 25.11.1 Release

We have just released the latest update to the Trados Cloud platform, and we would like to share the new functionality that has been delivered.
New features and updates are automatically added to your account, so just login to Trados, and they will be available immediately for you.

Custom Fields for Vendors and Vendor Order Templates
(Applies to Trados Accelerate and Enterprise)

You can now create and manage Custom Fields for Vendors and Vendor Order Templates, providing greater flexibility in how you capture and organize supplier-related information, such as contact details or contractual information.

When creating a new Custom Field, two new resource types are available for Vendor and Vendor Order Template.

Once a Custom Field has been created, it can then be associated with the corresponding resource type as required, either within the Custom Fields section of a Vendor Order Template or from the Settings > Custom Fields area of a Vendor as shown, below.

Custom Reporting Updates
(Applies to Trados Accelerate and Enterprise)

Task Workload dataset

A new Task Workload dataset provides visibility into both pending and accepted tasks, including assigned users, groups, or vendors. Previously, only accepted tasks were visible, limiting insight into upcoming work. This enhancement gives teams a clear view of current and future workloads, supporting better capacity planning, avoiding bottlenecks, and optimizing task assignments across internal and external resources.

TQA parent category now available

A new TQA parent category column has been added to the TQA Pairs table which is available from the Translation Assessment and Translation Productivity Assessment datasets. Previously, only sub-categories were available, which could cause ambiguity when the same sub-category appeared under multiple parent categories. This update enables clearer, more accurate reporting and analysis of Translation Quality Assessment results.

Is Translation Started field for Projects

A new Project Is Translation Started field is now available to simplify project tracking and reporting. The flag automatically updates when the first translation task in a project begins - regardless of workflow, quote approval, or project planning - eliminating manual tracking. It is available in all datasets that join with the Projects table, making it easy to filter and monitor projects where production work has started, improving visibility and streamlining operational reporting.

Filtering fuzzy matches from Online Editor
(Applies to Trados Team, Accelerate and Enterprise)

A new option in the Online Editor allows users to filter fuzzy match segments at a more granular level. When selected, a slider lets users define a fuzzy match range from 0 to 99, helping them focus on segments that meet precise similarity thresholds.
