Entry Statuses and Access Levels for more controlled access to Termbases
(Applies to Trados Accelerate and Enterprise)
We are introducing granular access control for cloud termbases via entry statuses and access levels, giving organizations precise control over who can view or edit terminology - down to individual languages.
With this new capability, teams can:
- Restrict access to entries or even specific languages within a termbase
- Track the status of an entry at entry level (in addition to term level)
- Assign read and write permissions based on these statuses and access levels
- Safely collaborate with internal teams and external vendors without compromising governance

This feature is designed for Enterprise and Public Sector environments where terminology ownership, compliance, and data security are critical. By reducing the risk of unauthorized changes and aligning access with real-world team structures, we help organizations scale terminology management with confidence - while maintaining the highest standards of control and trust.
