Trados 25.12.1 Release

Trados 25.12.1 Release

We have just released the latest update to the Trados Cloud platform, and we would like to share the new functionality that has been delivered.
New features and updates are automatically added to your account, so just login to Trados, and they will be available immediately for you.

Entry Statuses and Access Levels for more controlled access to Termbases
(Applies to Trados Accelerate and Enterprise)

We are introducing granular access control for cloud termbases via entry statuses and access levels, giving organizations precise control over who can view or edit terminology - down to individual languages.

With this new capability, teams can:

  • Restrict access to entries or even specific languages within a termbase
  • Track the status of an entry at entry level (in addition to term level)
  • Assign read and write permissions based on these statuses and access levels
  • Safely collaborate with internal teams and external vendors without compromising governance

This feature is designed for Enterprise and Public Sector environments where terminology ownership, compliance, and data security are critical. By reducing the risk of unauthorized changes and aligning access with real-world team structures, we help organizations scale terminology management with confidence - while maintaining the highest standards of control and trust.

Additional changes

  • Tasks on secondary workflow branches can now be assigned to vendors
  • Improved the TM Maintenance UI to be more intuitive, including mapping of field names in filter preview and improved field handling
  • General improvements: Various bug fixes and UX enhancements have been applied to improve overall stability and user experience.

As we are about to enter a change freeze period over the holiday season, this is the final Trados release planned in 2025. May we take this opportunity to thank all our customers for their support and feedback during the last 12 months. It has been a pleasure to deliver so many new features and updates for the product, and to hear first-hand from our customers as the Trados platform continues to evolve. We look forward to delivering many more new features in 2026 and wish you happy holidays!

Trados Product Management

  • Hi  , how are you? I hope everything is fine. I asked already a couple of times if it would be possible to list also the bugs that have been fixed (like it is done for Studio and Groupshare), in order to know, if some reported bugs have been fixed (I know, I can go look at the codes, but it would be much easier, if the fixes would be reported here, if it is not too much to ask).
    Thank you and happy holidays!
