In order to create projects in Cloud, you need to set up some resources such as: project template, translation memories, termbases etc. I do recommend you to go over the documentation through which you can find all this process tasks:

Iwas able to log in trados live, that's the name i see in my 2021 version, however, i have a question, i already have a translation memory in my desk trados, i need to use that memory, and I also need to use the glossary i had been working on all of these years. Can i upload them? I need to use what i have already been working on. Is it possible?

hi Alex thnk you so much for your help so far. I was successful in migrating my TM to the cloud but I cant do it with my term base. This is what i see:

But when I click on Migrar memorias de traducción, I only see this:

I dont see the option to migrate termbases. What can I do?

Milagros Diaz I apologize, I did miss the Trados Studio version you are using (2021). The local termbase migration to Cloud can be done through Trados Studio 2022. Here is a screenshot on how it looks like in the latest version:

Unfortunately the only option to upload the local termbase to Cloud is by creating a new one from scratch and afterwards import the local content to Cloud termbase.

Here you can find the steps in order to export the local termbase content that will be needed when creating the cloud termbase (termbase definition, termbase export):

Thank you Alex! Your help is greatly appreciated. Ill get the latest version this week. And i will follow the steps to transfer my termbase. Im almost close to getting it!!!!!!!! Ill continue bothering you maybe with my questions in the coming days!

can your tell me in simple words what new things the new version has? also I have noticed that some translation softwares have translation machines like deepl, does trados have something like that? I have read trados' new features but i dont undertand what they mean in the practice...

The ones that have a major impact are the cloud and desktop synchronization, it is much more stable now and brings much more flexibility working with Cloud resources online or offline.

Hi im back, tI bought my new version 2022, and Oh my Dog, how do I install this???????????????????

What do i do should deactivate???????? I did not realize but clicked on the bar on the right where it said something like updates and what i did was to reinstall my 2021 version¿??? is that waht happened or im crazy??? I though that at leat for this I would not need anty help!!!!!! I installed this new old version 2021 does that mean that my termbase does not have the terms I put in since 2021? Have they been deleted because I stupidly reinstaled this new old version?  already have nmy new license number, but where do i puit it. If I deactivate (isthat what I should do?) would my new words entered since 2021 get deteled? (Of course if they have not get deledted already) I thought i was updateing my 2021 version, i though maybe ithe 2021 version needs to be updated in order to change it to 2022...nothing in there said if you do this you are resintalling 2021. I feel frustrated!
