Hi Caroline Hétu , from my experience, so far, the "No internet connection" error was caused by the company network restrictions and I just want to share and maybe doublecheck with the IT department if they added the weblinks as exception to the firewall and antivirus solutions: https://gateway.rws.com/csm?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0040151 .

You can also try the mentioned knowledge base article solution.

Have you noticed this error message after updating Trados Studio, or was it like this since you had Trados Studio installed from the beginning?

We've been getting this message from the beginning, before we installed Trados Studio 2022 - 17.0.4.13209.

The IT guy sent me a document of the results from the exception test and everything is permitted. I could send you the Word file with the results, but I don't know how to do that.

No need to share the document. What I would recommend is to install Fiddler (https://www.telerik.com/fiddler) and track down the request when you click on "Retry" in Trados Studio. That might give us some information.

Not sure I'm allowed to install Fiddler on my company computer. I'll have to check with IT. Even the Retry button doesn't work. What I usually do is close Trados and reopen it to get the connection back. Also, when I do so, I sometimes get the following message.

IT installed Fiddler. Trados acted up this morning but displayed a slightly different message than the one above (see below). The Retry button didn't work. I had to close and reopen Trados. Looking at Fiddler, nothing seems abnormal. Only the number 200 gets displayed in the Result column. I don't know how I can send you the stuff from Fiddler.

Does your Windows user have administrator rights? If yes, can you Run Trados Studio with admin rights?

If through your user you do not have admin rights, can you check with IT department and ask them to check on your behalf, when running Trados Studio with admin rights, does it show the error message?

I'm still waiting for IT regarding Windows admin rights. In the meantime, I got the message below yesterday when using Studio and I took a screen shot from Fiddler. Maybe it will give you an idea of what's happening.

Recently I experienced this issue and I was able to overcome this issue after disabling TLS 1.3 (security protocol) from Windows.

1. Open the Registry Editor of your computer (administrator rights may be required)
2. Go to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecurityProviders\SCHANNEL\Protocols from Registry editor
3. Find "TLS 1.3" and delete it
4. Open Trados Studio, and try connecting to the server/cloud again

Can you please check it on your side and let me know if you have TLS 1.3. If this is not listed there, the issue probably is from somewhere else.
