Hi Ina Brandt , what version of Trados Studio do you have installed on your side? You can check this in Help -> About Trados Studio. The version which will allow you to save the local termbase to Cloud, is Trados Studio 2022 CU4 (latest build).

I just have another question: As I said, I successfully migrated the TM to the cloud. Now I am working with this cloud TM. I have quite some segments within my text which are completely identical. For the first occurrence, I amended a match that was found in the TM. I would expect that for the following identical segments, this amended segment is found, however, I always get the segment I need to amend again. How can I check if and why the TM is not updated during my work?

Sorry to bother you again, I just realize that I have the same problem with the termbase. I have a cloud termbase where I added some terms during my translation which are now not included in the termbase. I connected with my cloud account, so this should not be the problem. Do I have to perform some steps in the Trados Live version so that the bases are updated?

I think you are referring to "Auto Propagation" setting - when you confirm a segments and the rest of the same segments are auto-filled? If so, you can check this setting in Studio -> Options ->  Editor -> Auto-Propagation.

Regarding the TM update you can check if the TM update setting is enabled in Project settings -> Language Pairs -> All Language Pairs -> Translation Memory and Automated -> Check if the translation engine is select Translation Engine if this has ethe "Update" ticked.

I am stll experiencing problems when I want to add terms to a cloud based term data base. I wanted to open my cloud-based termbase called "Englisch-Deutsch". However, when I open it, the name given reads "Cloud-based terminology (standard). This might be the reason why it is not updated. When I want to open the cloud-based term bank it shows the window you see in the screenshot. (I am asked to open the termbase in MultiTerm to change its name). Do you have any suggestions how to solve this problem?

Also, regarding the update TM, the update position could be ticked in Language Cloud account -> Resources -> Translation engine -> Translation memory, and this will remain unchanged for all the projects created with this translation engine.
