I am using Trados Accelerate and have received a document for translation through the Customer Portal from a client. I would like to allow the translator to work outside of the Trados system and so need to upload the final translation directly into the system. I am not sure whether the system will still allow for the QA process but in any case will need to deliver to the client. How can this be done?
Hi Luke,
In this case you could either use the DTP or Final Check tasks, assigned to you, and you replace the final file generated by Trados with your offline file for delivery. Once you complete Final Check, the file you uploaded will be served to the Client.

I marked the project as completed and it is in the finalization step but I do see an option to upload a file. See below screenshot.
Relatedly, how can a translator upload a translation that was assigned to them but they completed outside of the Trados system?

Hi Lucas,
If you go to Inbox now, that task should show up in your new Tasks, accept it, then you can upload a final file and complete the task (not the project).
