Yes, that is possible, to assign a project to a user and once the notification is received, the user can then open the Cloud project file in Trados Studio and they can add local resources from which the information can be retrieved. Once confirmed segments, these should be uploaded to the Cloud resources as well.

Hi Alex Jude , I realized since my original post that the proper way of doing this is connecting the linguist's personal Trados Studio account with our company Trados Accelerate account. This allows the linguist to work through Studio leveraging their own term bases and language memory, while keeping the live connection between their account and ours, thus avoiding the need for downloading/uploading and the problems that often come with it.
