forbidden terms in Trados online editor

Hello,

Does anyone know if it is at ll possible to set a QA for forbidden terms in the Trados online editor/Trados Live?

It is correctly set in the desktop version (see below), but I can't figure out how to manage this in the online version.

Screenshot of Trados QA Checker 3.0 settings with a focus on verification parameters for forbidden terms. A terminological database named 'forbidden_terms' is selected with various QA checks enabled.

Thank you!

  • Hello,

Based on the current context, it appears that the feature to set a QA for forbidden terms in Trados Live (the online version of Trados Studio) is not yet available. However, it's good to know that this feature is on the list to be added in the future. While there's no exact timeline for when this will be implemented, it's possible that it may be introduced in 2022.

In the meantime, you can continue to use this feature in the desktop version of Trados Studio. I understand that this might not be the ideal solution, but rest assured that RWS is continuously working to improve and expand the features of Trados Live to better meet the needs of our users.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.

    Best regards,
