Trados Accelerate - Delivery Date absent from On-Time Delivery Reports

Trados Accelerate does not give you standard access to custom reports, but there is a "on time delivery for customer" Report that assigns labels like "EARLY" or "LATE" to projects. When exporting the data to csv there is no Delivery Date information in the table. How are the "late"/"early" deliveries calculated? And why can't we access such a basic piece of information? Am I missting something?

Question improvement suggestion: Provide specific details about the version of Trados Accelerate you are using and any steps you have already taken to try to resolve the issue.

In the meantime, based on the information you have provided, here is a suggested answer to your question:

    Hello,

Step 1: The "On-Time Delivery" report in Trados Accelerate calculates "EARLY" or "LATE" labels based on the due dates set for projects and the actual completion dates. If a project is completed before the due date, it is labeled as "EARLY," and if it is completed after the due date, it is labeled as "LATE."

Step 2: Regarding the absence of the Delivery Date in the exported CSV, this may be due to the limitations of the reporting features in Trados Accelerate. Unfortunately, standard access to custom reports is not available, which might restrict the visibility of certain data points like Delivery Dates.

Step 3: If you feel that this information is essential for your reporting needs, consider providing feedback to the development team or checking if there are any updates or enhancements planned for future releases that might address this limitation.

Step 4: As a workaround, you might want to explore exporting the report in Excel format, which may allow for more flexibility in handling the data.

  • If the labels "LATE", "EARLY" and so on are calculated on completion dates, why are those dates not showing in the xls/csv export files?

Question improvement suggestion: Specify the version of Trados Accelerate you are using and clarify if you have checked the settings related to report exports.

In the meantime, based on the information you have provided, here is a suggested answer to your question:

    Hello,

Step 1: The labels "LATE" and "EARLY" in the On-Time Delivery reports are indeed calculated based on the completion dates of the projects. However, the absence of these dates in the exported XLS/CSV files may be due to the limitations of the reporting features in Trados Accelerate.

Step 2: It's important to note that while the system tracks completion dates for internal calculations, the export functionality may not include all data points, such as Delivery Dates, in the output files. This could be a design choice or a limitation of the current reporting capabilities.

Step 3: If you require the Delivery Dates for your reporting needs, I recommend checking if there are any settings or options within the report configuration that might allow you to include this information.

Step 4: As a workaround, you might consider exporting the report in Excel format, which may provide more flexibility in handling the data. Additionally, you could explore merging data from multiple reports to create a comprehensive overview.
